for protection from the enemy in one’s relationship with fellow believers .
Weekly prayer of March 13, 2005.
At The Way Ministries…John 14:6 everything is done in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Our Father and our God in heaven. Hallowed be Your name. We thank You LORD for this week and for Your word “which “is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105). Early this year You showed us seven ways of explaining unity. The first two ways are that unity is “to be one with You” (1 Corinthians 6:17; Ephesians 4:4-6), and “to be one in the body of Christ” (1 Corinthians 12:12-31).
Last week we learned that some believers have turned away from You and Your Son Jesus Christ partly due to a lack of understanding of Your written word and partly due to their dissatisfaction with the Church. In response to how to address these concerns You showed us that part of being united with You is learning to be united with Christ and with members of His body, the Church. We thank You for our faith in You, and in Your Son, and for our faith in the Church.
In the name of Jesus, we pray that believers will understand the value of staying together and supporting one another and whatever You reveal through Your word and through Your Spirit. LORD, let the enemy not cause misunderstanding and division between Your people at home and abroad. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
To our visitors: Let this prayer be yours as you receive it and personally offer it to God, Amen. If you said and offered this prayer to God and desire protection from the enemy in your relation with fellow believers, or if you have any prayer requests please use this link to (Email Us).
