The Way Ministries...John 14:6
Prayer for the will to showcase God’s love through our quest for unity and peace at home and abroad.
Weekly prayer of April 3, 2005.
At The Way Ministries…John 14:6 everything is done in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Our Father and our God in heaven. Hallowed be Your name. We thank You LORD for this day. We especially thank You for Your past, present, and future blessings. In the past, You demonstrated Your love towards us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Today, as we may drift in and out of sin, You assure us that if we confess our sins, Jesus is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). And in the person of Jesus Christ You showed that Your love is unconditional and Your grace is sufficient. For that O LORD we are grateful.
We are also grateful to know that like You “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We are further grateful to know that we can call upon You at any time through Christ and You will answer. For making Yourself available and reachable we praise You. Knowing that You answer our prayers we lift up holy hands in worship and adoration as we submit the following requests to You.
In the name of Jesus we ask that You grant unity and peace to your people at home and abroad. In the name of Jesus, let wisdom prevail among Your people in leadership positions worldwide. In the name of Jesus, let the relationships among Your people all over the world be motivated and governed by love. In the name of Jesus, let Your people have knowledge and understanding and a spirit of forgiveness one for another. In the name of Jesus, let all who don’t know You in the pardon of their sins be united and at peace with You.
We love You LORD and are blessed because You first loved us (1 John 4:19). Now, LORD, let Your people also show that love to the world through our quest for unity and peace at home and abroad. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
