The Way Ministries...John 14:6

Jesus said to him,

"... I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

- John 14:6 (NKJV)

Prayer for peace, comfort, and assurance.

Weekly prayer of May 29, 2005.

At The Way Ministries…John 14:6 everything is done in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Our Father and our God in heaven. Hallowed be Your name. We thank You LORD for the first day of each week that we come together to worship and glorify You. We thank You also for this week as we remember all the faithful that have departed from us to be with You in paradise. We further thank You for the men and women that served and gave their lives in the line of duty for their country. We are encouraged by Your word that tells us that:
a good name is better than precious ointment, and the day of death than the day of one’s birth… (Ecclesiastes 7:1).

Although this is true we know that for some people the memory of a loved one that has gone to be with You can be very painful and sorrowful. In the name of Jesus we pray for peace, for comfort, and for assurance that all that mourn the loss of their loved ones will be comforted (Matthew 5:4). In Jesus’ name grant them Your peace which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). In memory of their loved ones fill them with comfort and make them exceedingly joyful in all their tribulation (II Corinthians 7:4). Assure them O LORD that in Your Son’s Jesus name, there is no death (John 11:25, 26) but there is abundant life (John 10:10) and there is everlasting life (John 3:16). Equally important assure them O LORD that in Jesus we have faith, hope, and love (John 3:16). In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

To our visitors: Let this prayer be yours as you receive it and personally offer it to God, Amen. If you said and offered this prayer to God and you desire peace and comfort and assurance or if you have any comments or prayer requests please use this link to (Email Us).
