The Way Ministries...John 14:6
Prayer for peace and divine health in times of tumult.
Weekly prayer of July 17, 2005.
Our Father and our God in heaven. Hallowed be Your name. We thank You LORD for this day and this week. We thank You in good times and in bad times. We thank You in obedience to Your word that says “in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18 ).
LORD, one of my fellow Nigerians and his family recently went home on vacation. Unfortunately, my countryman had a stroke during that trip. As You know, the rest of his family have returned to their California home and are praying for his recovery and making arrangements for a quick reunion with him. As you also know, I spoke to his wife recently and prayed with her.
I come again LORD to lift this family and others like them up to You in prayers. You know how much they and others can bear. You know what they and others lack and need. I believe that they and others need You now more than ever before. They need You in their uprising and down sitting and in their going out and coming in. Perhaps my countryman’s condition is solely physical. But, in case it is also spiritual, I ask You LORD in Jesus name, to please forgive him and others like him of their sins. Let him and all in similar condition emerge from their tribulation with increased faith, with greater understanding of who You are, and with a deeper sense of commitment to You, and to their purpose in life.
In addition, please forgive me and all who visit this site our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And grant us O LORD, Your healing grace, and Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
To our visitors: Let this prayer be yours as you receive it and personally offer it to God, Amen. If you said and offered this prayer to God and you desire peace and divine health, or if you have any comments or prayer requests please use this link to (Email Us).
