The Way Ministries...John 14:6

Jesus said to him,

"... I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

- John 14:6 (NKJV)

Prayer of Gratitude for Jesus' Birth.

Weekly prayer of December 25, 2005.

At The Way Ministries…John 14:6 everything is done in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. This week let us thank God for the birth of Jesus.

Our Father and our God in heaven. Hallowed be Your name. We thank You LORD for Your Son Jesus. We thank You for the opportunity to always celebrate His birth in December. For me celebrating His birth is evidence that He lived and still lives. Celebrating His birth also affirms Your Son’s words: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die” (John 11:25, 26). And because Your Son lives on, we have hope in the present and the future. For that we give You all the honor, and all the praise, and all the glory.

This year, in celebrating Your Son’s birth, remind us that whereas the law that was given by Moses could not bring the world to perfection, the grace that was given by Jesus can bring the world to perfection through faith. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourself, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8).

We thank You LORD for Your grace. We thank You for Your mercy. And we thank You for Your love. Grant us always the ability to exercise our faith, the desire to seek You, and the opportunities to serve You. Continue to let us be mindful of the fatherless, the jobless, the homeless, the poor, the broken-hearted, the captives, the blind, the sick, the shut-in, and the bereaved. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

To our visitors: Let this prayer be yours as you receive it and personally offer it to God, Amen. If you said and offered this prayer to God and you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, we congratulate you for you will live forever in Christ Jesus, Amen.
