The Way Ministries...John 14:6

Jesus said to him,

"... I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

- John 14:6 (NKJV)

Prayer for Unity and Peace.

Weekly prayer of January 2, 2005.

At The Way Ministries…John 14:6 everything is done in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. As we go through 2005 let us pray for unity and peace at home and abroad.

Our Father and our God in heaven. Hallowed be Your name. It is a blessing to walk with You and be guided and directed by “Your word (which) is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105).

This year enable us O LORD to understand that the pursuit of unity and peace at home and abroad begins with being humble and prayerful. Remind us that in response to Solomon’s prayer following the dedication of the Temple , You said:

“When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people,” in other words, when there is trouble and unrest in the land, “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:13, 14).

The world needs to be healed of the wickedness that hinders the prayers for unity and peace from getting to You. Help us O LORD to understand that YOU will hear and answer our prayers and heal our land when the people that are called by Your name will humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways. Although we hear and understand You, we still find it difficult to obey You. For that we are sorry and ask for Your forgiveness. LORD, please help us to overcome the difficulty we have obeying You. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

To our visitors: Let this prayer be yours as you receive it and personally offer it to God, Amen. If you said and offered this prayer to God and/or committed to praying for the pursuit of unity and peace, or if you have any prayer requests please use this link to (Email Us).

Blessings.
